Randolph 90th Birthday Bricks

Roadrunner Way part of school’s 90th celebration

The community is invited to become a part of Roadrunner Way at Randolph Elementary School. This school year marks the 90th birthday of Randolph Elementary in its current location.

To celebrate, the school invites all past, present and future Roadrunners to purchase engraved bricks to add to the path in the Butterfly Garden, and become a piece of Randolph Elementary School history.

These bricks will be added to the existing pathway through the Butterfly Garden, known as Roadrunner Way. Your brick can include up to three lines with a maximum of 16 characters per line. Purchase one for a special teacher, one for each of your children, or one for the whole family. Cost is $18 per brick.

If questions, please contact Vicki Fasnacht, 436-1163 or email vfasnac@lps.org.

Welcome to Randolph!

Staff at Randolph Elementary took a little time out of their summer to show students and their families what teachers actually do during their summers!

Students shine in ‘Thank You Teacher’ video

Students in Kathy Wobig’s third-grade class were the ‘stars of the show’ in the creation of this year’s Thank You Teacher video produced by Lincoln Public Schools. Two students were key in their work behind the camera to ensure a great filming session about six weeks ago, and the class kept a good lid on the surprise video released this week. Check out their work below.

And, of course, a big Randolph ‘Thank You’ to all of our teachers!

1st Grade Art project

1st graders excitedly walked the red carpet as they premiered their shadow puppet shows. Each student designed a storyboard with their animal of choice. They then drew and cut out the animals on black construction paper. Students worked both cooperatively and individually with the filming of their puppets.
